In less than a month we’re returning to Printworks London on 18 April for Clash In The Capital, the ultimate heavy-weight drum and bass showdown, brought to you by Lock N Load Events. This is the first time the main room will be kitted out with two killer sound systems to deliver four rounds of dubplate style dnb, inspired by the traditional Jamaican roots of sound clash culture. The hosts for the night are drum and bass veterans, Fabio and Grooverider alongside MC Skibadee and Det and special guest Chimpo.

Ahead of the event, Mixmag have produced a documentary featuring interviews with Clash In The Capital's artists. Watch the video below to see what they have to say on the jungle scene and soundclash culture.

Tickets are flying through the tiers and we're down to the last remaining £25 tickets, which are available here.

Team one – Jungle Warriors

Jungle legends Kenny Ken, Remarc and Playaz Recording’s own Potential Badboy team up with the Ragga Twins as the Jungle Warriors. You might have caught them at 2018’s Boomtown on the Lion’s Den stage or at one of the many Jungle Splash nights in London’s Fire Nightclub. The fusion of old and new jungle styles from the DJs led by the ragga MCs makes this four-strong group one to watch out for.

Team two – Shadow Demon Coalition

One of the most widely known drum and bass artists Voltage, alongside the iconic MCs Bassman and Trigga form the Shadow Demon Coalition. This trio hails from the jump-up scene’s biggest nights including Breakin Science, Innovation and their own SDC Valentines Ball in Birmingham. No doubt Voltage will be bringing his signature roller and jump-up sound to the clash.

Team three – Dub Shotta

Dub Shotta features Benny Page and Dope Ammo who are both known for their reggae-influenced drum and bass style. Led by MCs Sweetie Irie, Fearless, and Sye, expect big reggae remixes and uplifting vibes from this crowd.

Team four – Born on Road x Serial Killaz UK

Team four sees a collaboration between Born on Road and Serial Killaz labels. Born on Road, a new label based out of Bristol and Birmingham is focused on various genres including dancehall, bashment, reggae, hip-hop and jungle, co-founded by the DJs Aries, Kelvin 373, Gold Dubs and Stivs. Serial Killaz, run by the DJ duo of the same-name is a jungle and jump-up label which has seen releases from many big drum and bass names including Upgrade and DJ Limited. You can also catch Selecta J-Man, Solo Banton, Carasel and MC JMAN in team four.

Don't miss out on the ultimate back-to-back battle of the bass this Easter. Tickets can be purchased here.
