We’ve made it! After almost 18 months of lockdowns, socially distanced raves and unlimited live streams, the Government has finally given nightclubs the green light to reopen without restrictions. Kicking the long-awaited week of freedom off is a new monthly, multi-genre, off-peak party called Worlds Collide. It’s taking place at The Cause, for an all day and night party on Thursday 22 July.
Split into two events, the day session will journey from Dub to DnB with an exclusive 90-minute set from Chase & Status alongside Rage. They will be joined by DnB pioneers, Fabio & Grooverider, hosted by MC GQ, as well as jungle legend, Uncle Dugs and Navigator, plus many more artists throughout the day.
Chakra Sounds Collective, founded by Aum started as a multi-genre collective that played host to an array of artists from different backgrounds and cultures. They have now expanded to a talent agency, representing some of the freshest talent on the scene. Chakra Sounds will be taking over The Yard at The Cause during the day session with an amazing roster of artists, featuring Aum herself, Will Silver, Distained, Jamiu and Footprint.
The night session is where things get darker and heavier. Headliners for the evening include legendary DJ Randall, Critical Sound’s Particle and V Recordings’ Paul T & Edward Oberon.
There will also be more takeovers throughout the night. Hosts include Engage Audio, who represent the deeper side of drum and bass, newcomer jungle events promoter Out The Box and the ultimate girl bosses, House of Hi-Fi, who are known for their success in supporting female artists emerging on the drum and bass and jungle scene.
We can't wait to be back at The Cause for this one. Don't miss out, tickets are on sale now.
